Does it sound like us?
Tone Tester.
Paste your text. It flags the fluff.
The tester is fast. Writing to the standard isn't.
Here's what it was checking for. Three tests, and one exception.
Three Tests.
Before any line of Valicy copy ships, it should pass three tests. If it fails one, it gets cut or rewritten.
If a word holds up the sentence, keep it. If it's just there to sound good, it's fluff, and it comes down.
We never claim a feeling. We state the fact and let the reader feel it.
Good news is never about us. Before it ships, ask one question: who does this praise? If the answer is Valicy, hand it to whoever earned it. Our teams. Our customers. Our partners. If someone else wrote it about us, we can share it, in words that thank the people who made it happen.
The word is out. The feeling stays.
"Proud" is off the table. It points the sentence back at us every time. But there is one feeling we will always name, and it's the one aimed at the reader. We can't wait for you to see it. That isn't telling you how good we are. That's telling you we made it for you.
Who We Are.
The same hiring page, written two ways. One leans on fluff and tells you how to feel. The other says less and means more.
